Gender - refers to the characteristics of women, men, girls and boys that are socially constructed. This includes norms, behaviors and roles associated with being a woman, man, girl or boy, as well as relationships with each other. As a social construct, gender varies from society to society and can change over time.
Relationships - An interpersonal relationship refers to the
association, connection, interaction and bond
between two or more people. There are many
different types of relationships. This section
focuses on four types of relationships: Family
relationships, Friendships, Acquaintanceships
and Romantic relationships
Family Portrait - The way a child interprets their family, children develop a depreciated sense of self, hence why they may draw themselves extremely small and far away from their other family members.
Physical development - refers to the advancements and refinements of motor skills, or, in other words, children's abilities to use and control their bodies.
Cognitive development -refers to how a person perceives, thinks, and gains understanding of his or her world through the interaction of genetic and learned factors. Among the areas of cognitive development are information processing, intelligence , reasoning, language development , and memory.
Self regulation - is the ability to monitor and manage your energy states, emotions, thoughts, and behaviors in ways that are acceptable and produce positive results such as well-being, loving relationships, and learning. It is how we deal with stressors and as such, lays the foundation for all other activity.
Digital literacy - refers to an individual's ability to find, evaluate, and clearly communicate information through typing and other media on various digital platforms. It is evaluated by an individual's grammar, composition, typing skills and ability to produce text, images, audio and designs using technology.
