Arteries of the abdominal wall

Horizontales
Supply muscles of the pelvic cavity
Bifurcate off the common iliac arteries
Arises from the internal thoracic artery, supplies anterior diaphragm and lower intercostal spaces
Travels along rib 12 and descends into abdominal wall
Has deep and superficial branches. supplies inguinal wall region
