The motor development that uses small muscles. the children improve string beads, working with puzzles having 12-35 pieces, drawings forms are more refined and recognizable, the use of scissors and tweezers are improving.
Verticales
The language skill that children learn to become more talkative, their vocabulary and grammar skills are improving. They are putting emotions in to words - I felt sad when I fell.
The Language skill that children learn with word relating to space concepts such as beside, top, bottom, forward, backwards. they become better at following three step commands - take the cup put it in the sink and wash your hands.
The repeating sounds or words and pausing for unusually long times while speaking.
The development of skilled thinking, having a better understanding of symbols, as well as they begin to create their own symbols, helps children prepare for future learning.
