Horizontales
Cardiac glycoside, increases cardiac contractility but decreases heart rate
Adrenergic agonist, avoid w/MAOIs, avoid stimulants (coffee), monitor for bronchospasm
AKA Benadryl, monitor for drowsiness, chest tightness, thick secretions, and hypotension
Valproic acid derivative, increases risk for bleeding with warfarin
Anticoagulant, never eject air bubble prior to injection, never massage or aspirate site

ACEI, can cause neutropenia, and cough
Has positive inotropic effect, not to be confused with dopamine
Calcium channel blocker, contraindicated in 2nd and 3rd AV block
AKA Intropin, monitor for irritation at IV site, avoid w/beta blockers, not to be confused w/dobutamine
Anticholinergic, used as an antidiarrheal agent. Contraindicated in angle closure glaucoma and dehydration
