Horizontales
Occurs when the sample data are incorrectly collected, recorded, or analyzed; can occur when sample is not randomly selected.
A part of the population we actually examine to gather information about the population.

Observes individuals & measures variables of interest but doesn't attempt to influence the responses.

The difference between a sample result and the true population result; results from chance variation.

The various groups the factors take.
Deliberately imposes some treatment on individuals to measure their responses.
Collects data from every individual in the population.
