Stages of Grief

Horizontales
When an individual typically tries to negotiate with themselves, people around them, or with a higher power to postpone or undo the inevitable and/or lesson intense bereavement emotions. it is an attempt to deal with grief and loss or someone's impending mortality.
A defence mechanism in which confrontation with a personal problem or with reality is avoided by denying the existence of of the problem or reality

A mood disorder marked especially by sadness, inactivity, difficulty in thinking and concentration

Verticales
A strong feeling of annoyance, displeasure, or hostility
Embracing the present- both good and bad - in order to shape the furture. It does not mean that we no longer can think about the loved one. Out of sight does not have to mean out of mind. Out current "present" has been wonderfully touched be the loved one's life. reflect upon those good times.
