Favorite and beloved son of Prophet Yaqub. He had eleven brothers who traveled far, in pursuit of a well deep enough to throw their brother in. He was blessed with exceptional knowledge and wisdom by Allah.
Third prophet after Prophet Adam, first prophet and messenger in history of Islam to perform Jihad against corruption. He was the first man to introduce the art of reading and writing to mankind and died in fourth heaven.

He returned to Naynawa and gave the people Allah's message once more. This time the people listened and Allah forgave them.
This prophet was one of the Bani Israel descendant and a successor to Prophet Ilyas and called upon his people to obey the laws and commands of Allah. Allah mentioned him twice in Quran. He had to escape the tyrant King of Ba'lbek.
He was sent to the people of Balbek to the west of Damascus. He called them to worship Allah and urged them to give up their idol worship.

While he encountered many victories, he also experience hardships in his life. Allah revealed the Torah, the divine book, to Musa.
He was born in Bethlehem and spoke to his mother as a baby. Allah raised him him to heaven to save him from his enemies. He will return to Earth before the Day of Judgement.
The holy book of Zabur (Psalms) was revealed to this prophet. He fought a big giant man called Goliath in Palestine and beat him in combat. He became famous man among the Israelites. He had a beautiful voice that when he recited praises for Allah. Birds, plants and mountains would enjoy listening to his voice. He recited his scripture and glorified Allah while the mountains joined him praise and the birds rallied around him. Allah gave him ability to understand the language of animals. He gave him the kingdom and wisdom and sound judgment in speech and decision.
