When 2 plates get separated apart. This results in earthquakes as well as volcanoes
When two lithospheric plates move apart the magma comes up from the lower mantle and forms volcanic mountain formations or volcanoes
Colliding oceanic and continental plates. When this happens the oceanic plate get pushed down into the lower mantle so the plate get's destroyed. Then the lithospheric plates form again because of magma cooling into rock. This results in earthquakes as well as volcanic rock formations
Verticales
